Learning where, on the guitar's fretboard, a particular note is, or which note will sound when you put your finger on a given fret can be a difficult task. This tiny simple program will help you learn those things in an easy manner. It has a simple interface that lets you choose one of its two learning modes. You can choose to study positions or notes. In the first case, a string number and a note are given; you need to figure out in which fret that note is. In the second case, a string number and a fret number will appear, and your task is to answer what note sounds when you hit that string in that particular fret. In both cases the questions appear at random, which makes the quiz more challenging. To get the right answer, you only need to click on the corresponding button.
Although it is a simple program and its interface is kind of unattractive, it can be useful if you are learning how to play the guitar and want to get acquainted with the fretboard. You can download the program for free from the developer's site.
